Ashitaあした

Plan tomorrow tonight.

Ashita is a daily planner and diary built around one idea: the day is planned the evening before, so you wake to a day that already feels real.

Free during early access. Works in any browser, installs to your home screen.

The Today view in Ashita
The daily rhythm

Five phases, every day

The order is fixed, and that is the point. Reflect before planning; plan before sleep.

  1. 01

    Morning

Log last night’s sleep and look at a plan that is already made.

  2. 02

    Day

Work the list. Capture stray thoughts without stopping to sort them.

  3. 03

    Shutdown

Every task still open gets a decision: done, moved, or dropped.

  4. 04

    Reflect

Five short prompts on how the day actually went.

  5. 05

    Plan

Set up tomorrow, and choose the one task with real consequences.

What it looks like

Quiet, and out of your way

Today view with the frog and top tasks
Today. The frog sits above everything, then your top tasks. The rest collapses into a count.
Time-box view with tasks in slots
Time-box. Drag work into slots to decide when it happens, not just whether it matters.
The daily reflection prompts
Reflect. Five prompts, then the day is closed.

What works today

Everything below is built and in use. Nothing here is a promise.

Weights, not guesswork

Every task carries a weight from 1 to 5. The list sorts itself, and colour tells you where the pressure is.

The frog

One task each day with real consequences if it slips. It sits above everything else, chosen deliberately during planning.

Only what fits above the fold

See your top three, or up to seven if you prefer. The rest collapses into a count. Out of sight without being out of mind.

Time-boxing

Drag tasks into slots to decide when the work happens. Priority and scheduling stay separate decisions.

The shutdown ritual

Close the day properly. Reflection stays locked until every open task has been triaged.

Daily reflection

Gratitudes, what worked, what could be better, what you expect tomorrow, and how you felt.

Sleep log

Hours and a sleep score each morning. Type it however you think of it: 7.5, 7:30, or 7h 30m.

Quick capture

One tap from any screen. No weight, no date, no decisions. Sort it during the evening plan.

Weekly review

Sunday brings the week into view: sleep and energy averages, recurring themes, and every stale task in one queue.

Recurring tasks

Daily, weekdays, certain days, monthly, or every few days. Verify the pattern before you commit to it.

Everything searchable

Full-text search across every reflection and weekly review you have ever written.

Your writing is yours

Export everything as a single file whenever you like. Reflections are never used for training, advertising, or analytics.

Questions

Worth knowing

Can I use it now?

Yes. Ashita is in early access and free to use. Most of what is described here works today. Anything that does not is marked as coming soon.

What does Ashita mean?

Ashita (あした) is the Japanese word for tomorrow. It is the whole idea of the product in one word.

What will it cost?

It is free during early access. The plan after release is $5.99 a month or $49 a year. Those figures may change before launch.

Who can read my reflections?

Only you. Reflection content is never used for AI training, never analysed for advertising, and never surfaced in analytics, even anonymised. It is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Can I get my writing out?

At any time. One button exports every task, reflection, sleep log, and weekly review as a single readable file.

Does it work offline?

It installs to your home screen and opens without a connection. Quick capture works fully offline and syncs when you are back.

Not ready yet?

Leave your email and we’ll tell you when Ashita is finished. If you’d rather try what exists now, it’s free and takes a minute.

We’ll email you when Ashita is fully released, and occasionally with progress updates.

Or start using it today.
